Get to know the October Series

It's no secret that October is my favorite month of the year. I love Halloween SO MUCH that I watch a horror movie every night in the month of October! (It's true. I call it 31 Days of Horror, and there are rules. It's a whole thing.)

October means welcoming the cooler weather, the spicy scents of the holiday season and all the candy your sweet tooth can handle. I knew that I wanted to open the shop in October and make some festive Halloween bars. 

Witches Brew is a fun, effervescent berry cocktail. It's a bright and fruity scent!

Fright Night smells like a walk through the haunted woods. It literally smells like wet leaves and earth. Fresh, mild ozone smell rounds out this bar. It's funky and unique, and my favorite bar of the month!

Trick or Treat smells like what I remember Halloween being like when I was a child. I remember the smell of the candy bag, full of treats. My favorite candies were (and still are) Atomic Fireballs and Smarties. I would trade away my chocolate for anything spicy or fruity. That's exactly what this bar smells like. Sweet and Fruity and Cinnamony goodness. 

Charcoal and Sandalwood is a lovely musky soap. The only colorant used in this soap is Activated Charcoal, and gold accents on top and throughout the bar. 

Warm Vanilla Sugar smells delightful. A fresh scent without being too sweet. I've included some walnut shell powder in the soap for a very gentle exfoliation. 

It was as much fun deciding what soaps to make as it was actually making them. I hope that they can be a fun part of your Halloween this year!
